How Your Smart Property works
Bookings drive your heating automatically — warm for guests, saving money when the place is empty.
Your Smart Property links two things: your booking calendars and your heating. When a guest is due, the property warms up in time for check-in; when it's empty, it drops back to a lower "setback" temperature so you're never heating an empty house.
The three pieces
- Your property — one place you let out. Everything you see in the console is about this property.
- Booking feed(s) — one or more iCal links from Airbnb, Booking.com, Vrbo or a calendar. Together they tell us when the property is occupied.
- Your heating — a boiler, thermostat, smart radiator valves (TRVs) or plugs we can control.
Once those are linked, the schedule runs itself. You can always override it, change the temperatures, or add more devices later.
Two modes. Simple controls the whole property as one zone. Advanced heats individual rooms differently. See Simple vs Advanced mode.
