Matter & Zigbee (Centurion box)
For local, hub-based control we supply a preconfigured gateway.
Matter and Zigbee devices talk to a local gateway rather than a maker's cloud. Where these are used, Centurion supplies a preconfigured box, and pairing is done from the console:
- Open the device's pairing / commissioning screen.
- Enter the pairing code from the device (dashes are handled for you).
- Watch the progress — the device joins and appears ready to place in a zone.
Not sure if you need this? Most customers use cloud-connected brands (Honeywell, Hive, Tado) and don't need a local gateway. Ask us if you're considering local hardware.
