Bookings vs owner blocks & maintenance

How we tell a paying guest apart from a night you block yourself.

Calendars contain two kinds of entry: real guest bookings and blocks you make yourself (owner stays, maintenance, "not available"). Smart Property treats them differently:

• Guest booking → the property is warmed for check-in and held at comfort while occupied.
• Owner block / maintenance → treated as unoccupied for heating, unless you're staying (add a normal calendar entry for that).

Each platform words these differently, and we recognise the common patterns automatically. If something is being treated the wrong way, let support know the exact wording and we'll tune it.
