Choosing devices for Simple or Advanced
What you need depends on whether you heat the whole property together or room by room.
| Simple (whole property) | A single smart thermostat or boiler control (Hive, Honeywell, Tado). Optionally a smart plug for a towel rail. |

| Advanced (room by room) | A smart radiator valve (TRV) on each radiator you want to control individually, optionally room thermometers, plus a boiler control. |
You can start Simple with a single thermostat and move to Advanced later by adding TRVs — nothing is wasted.
